Before you continue reading the article and see how to recover TikTok account, it seems right to provide you with some preliminary information that you absolutely cannot ignore before continuing.
To go deeper into the matter, I want to tell you clearly that if your account has been blocked by TikTok, recovering it will be almost impossible, unless you can prove that someone has taken it over and used it inappropriately for you (but it's a hard thing to do).
First, let's look at how to recover a TikTok account without a password. If you have lost the password to your account, know that recovering it won't be complicated at all. To proceed, launch the TikTok app on your Android or iOS / iPadOS device, press the Me button (bottom right) and press the Sign up button (placed in the center).
On the screen that opens, tap the wording Start (located at the bottom right, in correspondence with the article Already have an account?). Then press the Use phone / email / username button, tap the Email / username tab (top right) and tap the Forgot your password? item located below the login form.
At this point, choose the way to recover the account password: Phone number, if you registered with your phone number, or Email, if you registered with your email address. Therefore, in the corresponding text field, provide the phone number or email with which you registered for the service and press the Send code or Reset button, depending on the option previously chosen.
At this point, enter the verification code that was sent to you by SMS or email in the corresponding text field and press the Send button on your device's virtual keyboard. Finally, type the New password you wish to use in TikTok, setting one that is 8 to 20 characters long and composed of letters, numbers and special characters. Finally, click the Start button and that's it!
Do you want to recover TikTok account without email? Well, know that you can do it, as long as you have also set up a cell phone number as an account recovery method before you have lost your login credentials or remember your username.
To continue, launch the TikTok app on your Android or iOS/iPadOS device, press the Me button (bottom right) and tap the Sign Up button (in the center of the screen). On the screen that opens, click on the wording Start located at the bottom right and then on the Use phone / email / username button.
Now, if you have a phone number associated with your account, leave the Phones tab selected, provide the phone number in the appropriate text field and press the Submit Code button. Then type the code you received by SMS in the appropriate text field, let's Send on the keyboard of your smartphone and that's it. As if by "magic" you will have recovered your account, even if you do not remember the email address associated with it.
If you remember your username, click on the tab instead Email/username (top right), provide username and password in the corresponding text fields and tap the Start button.
Once you have recovered your account, to see which email address you registered on TikTok, click on the Me button (bottom right), press the three dots icon (top right) and select the Account Management item. You will then be able to see the (partially hidden) email address you registered with) and therefore be able to track it.
If you want to change the email address associated with your account or if you want to receive a notification to the latter to really understand what address it is (if you could not yet understand it), click on the wording Email present in the Account Management screen and tap the item go ahead.
You will receive a message, to the email address of your TikTok account, that will allow you to understand with which address you created the account: by typing, in the corresponding text field, the code received and pressing Send on the keyboard of the device in use you will be able to access the module that allows you to change your email address.
If you do not have the possibility to access the e-mail address associated with your account, click on the item Can't access the e-mail address? and, after providing the code that will be sent to you via SMS (to the number associated with your profile), you can proceed to the change of address by following the instructions I have given you in the previous lines.
If you have not configured your mobile number as an account recovery method or you do not remember your username and, for this reason, you have not yet been able to log in, you can try to find the email address you are registered with on TikTok.
Perhaps you can try to look for e-mails from TikTok in the e-mail addresses you have: if there are messages from the platform in any of them, that is obviously the address you registered with. By doing so, you will be able to log back into your account using it.
In any case, if you continue to have problems logging in, try contacting TikTok, following the instructions given in the last chapter of this guide.
Do you want to recover a blocked TikTok account? If the service has had valid reasons to go ahead with the block, I'm afraid you won't be able to do much. For example, as of February 9, 2021, in response to requests from the Privacy Watchdog, all accounts belonging to children under the age of 13 will be blocked.
However, if you believe you have been the victim of an error, please try contacting TikTok at the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the message, specify the reasons why you believe it is unfair to block your account and request its reactivation. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that you will succeed, but nothing prevents you from trying.
Have you decided to delete your TikTok account but, having regretted your choice, would like to try to recover it? If you have deleted your account for less than 30 days, this is very easy to do.
To recover the TikTok account deleted less than 30 days ago, launch the TikTok application on your Android or iOS / iPadOS device, press the Me button (bottom right), press the Sign up button (in the center of the screen) and tap the wording Starts (bottom right). Then, log in to your account: press the Use phone / email / username button visible on the screen and choose whether to log in with the phone number associated with your account or with your email or username.
In the first case, after selecting the Phones tab and having provided your phone number in the corresponding text field, press the Send code button. Therefore, type the verification code received by SMS in the corresponding text field and provide Send on the keyboard of your device. Otherwise, if you have opted for access with email or username, after touching the Email/username tab (top right), provide your credentials in the Email or username and Password text fields and press the Start, login button.
Once you are logged in, confirm your desire to reactivate the TikTok account you had previously disabled by pressing the Reactivate button, and that's it.
Have you deleted your TikTok account for more than 30 days? Sorry, but as I told you in the introductory lines of the article, unfortunately there is no way you can do this. The only thing you can do is to create a new account, but clearly you will not be able to recover the content you already created in the previous one.
