How to be called by Vodafone

If you want to switch to Vodafone and possibly also want to buy a smartphone, a tablet or a portable router from the store of the famous operator and you want the latter to get in touch with you, the first step you need to take is to connect to the page of the operator's website dedicated to tariffs and products. Once this is done, choose the topic of your interest among Rates for smartphones, Rates for tablets, PCs and keys, ADSL and IperFibra, Smartphone, Tablet or Mobile Wi-Fi.

In the new Web page that will open at this point, click on the button We call you for free that you see on the screen or that you find in correspondence with the rate or product of your interest.

Finally, type your phone number in the field Enter Phone attached to the box that opened on the screen, answer any questions that may be asked (eg. Do you already have Vodafone ADSL? if you have chosen to be contacted by Vodafone by clicking on the section ADSL and IperFibra and then on the appropriate button on the right) and then click on the button We call you for free or on that Send (the wording on the button may differ depending on the tariff or product selected).

In a few moments you will therefore be contacted by Vodafone at the previous telephone number indicated and you can proceed with the activation of the chosen plan and with the purchase of any previously selected product.

How to contact Vodafone

In addition to having Vodafone call you as I have indicated in the previous lines, you can get in touch with the "red manager" also by contacting their customer service yourself. How? Well, you can do it by calling a specific numbering or by exploiting the power of social networks. You can also contact Vodafone via chat on the operator's website. Below you will find explained in detail how to proceed in both cases.

Telephone support

How to be called by Vodafone

If you want to get in touch with Vodafone by phone, all you have to do is make a call to the 190. The number is active 24 hours a day and 24 days a week but the technical assistance staff are available only from 7:7 to 8:00. At other times it is only possible to forward requests relating to the blocking of lost or stolen SIMs or for charging problems. The call is always free.

Once the phone call has been initiated, as regards the mobile line, the combination of keys that you must use to be able to speak with an operator is, at the time of writing, 1-4-4 to request technical assistance or 1-5  to block a lost / stolen SIM. However, I would like to clarify that the key combinations in question may be subject to change at any moment. So you, regardless of the info that I have provided you, always and in any case listen to the indications of the recorded voice in order to avoid wasting precious time by trying.

In general, the options you have to choose are the ones to access the assistance services for mobile telephony (currently referring to button 1) and to request assistance from a consultant (which you can currently obtain by pressing the button 4) or to request the SIM blocking of a stolen or lost phone (which at present you can request by pressing the button 5 and typing il number of the lost SIM).

If, on the other hand, you have a fixed Vodafone line, you can request assistance for the latter by pressing the key 2 (instead of the 1 key as seen above) and typing yours number followed by the symbol # (hashtag). Alternatively, you can call directly from a landline (and in this case if you are calling from a Vodafone network, you do not need to type in the reference number as the one you are calling from will be taken into consideration and you will not have to press the button 2).

Once this is done, listen to the welcome message and press the button 1 or the button 3. Even in this case, however, keep it in mind, the combination of keys to press can be subject to frequent variations so I suggest once again to always listen to the instructions of the guide voice.

In principle, you have to choose whether request information on the rates available to switch to Vodafone (which currently corresponds to the  key 1), whether to access the services of assistance for Vodafone mobile network customers (which currently corresponding to button 2 and usable only if the call is made from a fixed network) or if you access the services of assistance for Vodafone fixed network customers (which currently corresponding to button 3).
