How to Download S Health
S Health is a free application available for Android and iOS devices. It allows you to set and monitor your workout daily, keep track of your physical activity, calories burned and enter numerous data relating to meals and health status. It is good to know that it is not compatible with rooted or jailbroken devices.
If you have a device Android and you want to download S Health, then presses the icon Play Store present on the home screen of your device (the symbol ▶ ︎ colored), type S Health in the search engine at the top and press the button Search. Then press on the first result and proceed with the installation: tap on the icon S Health, then presses the buttons Install e Accept to start the download and installation, wait for the progress bar to reach 100% and that's it.
If you want to download S Health on your iPhone / iPadinstead, start theApp Store pressing on its icon on the home screen (the "A" bianca his azzurro background), then tap on the item Search located in the bottom menu, type "S Health”In the field Search present at the top and press the button Search. In the search results list, locate S Health and presses on its icon, then tap on the buttons Get e Install to proceed with the download of the app and that's it. After you have downloaded the S Health app on your device, you need to use it create a Samsung account (also useful for backing up and restoring your health data).
How to use S Health
Once you've finished creating your Samsung account, you can finally get started use S Health and set your personal goals, enter your health status and plan your physical activities, tracking your progress, daily activities and results. How to do? I'll explain it to you right away!
When using S Health for the first time, press on the voice Other present at the top right and tap on the option Personal page to enter your physical data useful for a better functioning of the app.
Then press on the item Expand profile and, in section User information, presses on the voice Gender to start entering your data: then select one of the items from Male o Female, set yours date of birth, enter yours height and yours weight and tap on the item Done per salvare I modified it.
Now, in the section Activity level, tap on one of the options available between Sedentary (normal daily activities), Rather active (if you do 30-60 minutes of moderate daily activity), Active (for moderate daily activities over 60 minutes) e Very active (for daily activities of 120 minutes).
Once you have completed customizing your profile, you are ready to set your first goals. On the main screen of S Health, then press the button Set goals and select the minutes of activity you intend to carry out daily by choosing from a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 360 minutes, then presses the button NEXT and set the daily calorie consumption expressed in Kcal. As a last step, enter yours sleep duration setting the time in the boxes Rest hours e Activation hours, then presses the button Done to save the goals you have set.
To change or cancel a goal, tap on the item Other present at the top right and presses on the option Manage items. After that, in the section Aims, press on the objective of your interest. Then move the cursor to increase or decrease the daily goal or press on the item Cancel goal to delete it.
Add and track data
After entering your personal data and setting your goals, you can start entering daily data on physical activity, meals taken and thus monitor your progress with S Health.
On the main screen of the application you can view the progress of the objectives set, a daily pedometer and the individual boxes relating to the elements, such as race, Food e Weight. You should know that some data, such as daily steps, are automatically detected by the application, while some activities, such as the duration of sleep, can only be managed automatically if you have one of the compatible devices, such as SmartWatch o heart rate monitors. Despite this, you can manually manage all the elements of S Health.
To enter your daily data, press on the element of your interest and fill in the fields. For example, if you want to enter the meals consumed during the day, press on the voice Add related to the element Food, then select the meal you want to enter by choosing from Breakfast, Lunch, Price, Morning snack, Afternoon snack e Evening snack.
To enter a food, tap on the item Search at the top and type the name of the food to search for in the field Search for food or restaurants e pulsing sul pulsating Search, then locate it in the search results and press the ✓ button to add it to your meal. Alternatively, tap on the item Add to Wishlist to view a list of common foods or tap the option My food to manually add a new food.
After adding the foods, you can move on to customizing the meals: press the button + at the top to insert a photo of the meal, tap on the time visible next to the item Time to set the meal time, tap the buttons - e + to decrease or increase the quantity of individual foods and press the button Add food to add a new food to the meal. After adding the food and customizing the meal, press on the voice Done per salvare I modified it.
To add the water and coffees taken during the day, you can simply tap the button + relative to the box Acqua e Caffeine present in the main screen of S Health, while you can press on the item starts related to physical activity boxes (for example Camminata, race, Biking) to begin recording and monitoring data related to practical physical activity, such as the duration distance, burned calories, the passivated average speed and much more.
By pressing on the individual elements and scrolling through them data of the calendar, you can also access the history of the data entered and recorded in the previous days, with the possibility of making a comparison and viewing the progress through a graph.
How to connect accessories
As mentioned above, it is possible connect S Health to compatible accessories, such as smartwatches, heart rate monitors, etc. Then start the application of the service, press on the item Other present at the top right and select the option Accessories. If you have a Samsung device listed (Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro, Samsung Gear Sport, Samsung Gear S3), press the accessory in your possession, tap on the item Register and follow the instructions provided on the screen.
