Why is my account blocked?
There are several reasons why Facebook decides to block or disable an account and these are:
- Fake accounts: Facebook does not allow users to create fake, that is, non-personal accounts associated with famous people, or fictional characters
- Made up names: even the use of non-real names is not allowed. According to Facebook's rules, an account must match a person's real identity
- Identities stolen: It is also not allowed to open an account by stealing another person's identity. Remember that the Facebook profile is something personal.
- Publishing content that does not comply with Facebook policies: if the user posts racist, offensive and insulting content towards another person or a group of people, Facebook proceeds to block the account temporarily or permanently.
