How to contact Amazon by phone

You must know, in fact, that the number 800.798.277, which Amazon had made available to obtain telephone support, has not been active for some time and, consequently, it is not possible to call customer service directly.

To be able to get in touch with Amazon by phone, all you have to do is access the section Contacts of the famous shopping site, specify the reason for which you are contacting customer support and then select the option Telephone to book a call from an operator.



To understand better, let's take a practical example. If your intention is contact Amazon for a refund and you want to talk to an operator in flesh and blood, connected to the official Amazon website and, if you have not already done so, log in to your account: then linger with the mouse pointer on the item Account e listclick on your button Log in, enter your data in the fields Email address or mobile number e Password and firstly your pulse Log in.

Now, click on the item Account e list, select the option Help and press on the item Contact us. On the newly opened page, make sure the option is selected My shipment, my order or a return and, in the box Here is a recent order, put the check mark next to the order of your interest. To view older orders, instead, click on the button Select another order.


Having done this, in the section Tell us more about your problem, select the option Returns and Refunds through the appropriate drop-down menu and further specify the subject of your request by choosing one of the options available among Return an item, Check the status of the refund, Wrong refund e Check the status of the return.


At this point, scroll down the page until you find the section How would you like to contact us?click on your button Telephone, make sure the phone number displayed in the field Your number is correct and press the button call me now, to book a call and be contacted by an Amazon operator within a few minutes.

The same way you can proceed too from smartphones and tablets. In this case, launch the Amazon app for Android devices (also available on alternative stores) and iPhone / iPad and log in to your account. Press, then, on the ☰ button, select the item Costumer Services e fai tap sull'opzione Contact us.

Now, tap on the item Call customer service and, in the new screen displayed, select the option of your interest among An order I placed, devices, Digital content, Account settings and privacy of my data e Before placing an order, depending on why you intend to contact Amazon by phone.

At this point, if you see the screen My question is about, further specify the subject of your request and tap the button Contact now. On the new screen that appears, make sure the telephone number indicated in the appropriate field is the one on which you intend to be contacted and press the button call me now, in order to be contacted by telephone by an Amazon operator.


Finally, I would like to underline that the instructions I have just given you to be called by Amazon are valid regardless of the reason why you are contacting the customer service of the famous shopping site. Please note, however, that in some cases the option to book a call from a live operator may not be available for your specific need. If so, you can still get help by choosing one of the other available contact options.


How to contact Amazon via email

The procedure for contact Amazon by mail it is almost identical to what I indicated earlier to be called by an operator of the famous shopping site.

To proceed from computer, then connected to the main page of Amazon, log in to your account and click on the option Account e list. In the new screen that appears, select the option Help, tap on the item Contact us and specify the topic you are requesting assistance for by selecting one of the available options.

On the screen Email Amazon.co.uk Customer Service, enter your message in the field Enter more information and press pulsating Send: Your message will be forwarded to Amazon and within a short time you will receive a reply to the email address associated with your Amazon account. If you prefer to proceed from smartphones and tablets, start the Amazon app instead, tap the ☰ button, select the option Costumer Services and, in section Still need help?, tap on the item Contact us.

Then choose the option Contact customer service via email, specify the subject of your request by clicking on one of the options available between An order I placed, devices, Digital services, Account settings and privacy of my data e Before placing an order and, if you see the screen My question is about, further specify why you are contacted Amazon.

How to contact Amazon via chat

Having done this, in the section Tell us more about your problem, select the subject of your request by choosing the option of your interest in the drop-down menus Choose an option and, in the box How would you like to contact us?click on your button Chat, to start a new conversation with a real Amazon operator.

At this point, enter your message in the field write a message and click on the button Send, to start chatting. Please note that the chat assistance service is available every day from 06.00 to 24.00.

If you don't have a computer available or you just prefer to proceed from smartphones and tablets, launch the Amazon app, press the ☰ button and select the options Costumer Services e Contact us. Now, tap on the item Chat with customer service and, in the screenshots My question is about, specify the subject of your request by selecting one of the available options.

Then press the button Continue to customer service and wait for an Amazon operator to contact you. At this point, enter yours message in the appropriate field and click on the option Send, at the bottom right, to send your message and start chatting. How to contact Amazon without an account

How do you say? You would like to know if it is possible contact Amazon without account? If so, your only option is to use Twitter. In fact, Amazon has a Twitter profile (in English) through which it provides assistance to its customers.

To contact an Amazon operator via the social network in question from smartphones and tablets, start the Twitter app for Android devices (also available on alternative stores, for devices without Google services) or iPhone / iPad and, if you haven't yet done, log into your account. At this point, press the button +, at the bottom right, type @AmazonHelp and your message in the field What's new and press pulsating Tweet.

In both cases, do not enter any private data in the first message, as it is a public tweet. As soon as you receive a response from an Amazon operator, you can continue the conversation privately and enter all the information and data you deem appropriate.
