To download the app to your device if you are using Android, visit the relative section of the Play Store and press the button Install (or see if there is any alternative store, if you have a device without Google services). If you are using iOS / iPadOS, invece, accessed the relative sezione dell'App Store, premi sul bottone Get, quindi quello Install and authorize the download via Face ID, touch ID o password dell'ID Apple. It's free, but it only allows you to export one video. To get around this limitation and unlock additional functions, you need to make in-app purchases (at a cost of 2,99 euros / week).
Application for joining Windows and Mac videos

Avidemux (Windows / macOS / Linux)
The first program to join video on PC that I recommend you to consider is Avidemux. It is a completely free software, open source and compatible with all major computer operating systems (Windows, macOS and Linux). It is also capable of working with the most popular video file formats: MP4, MKV, AVI and so on. It can also be used to merge files of different formats, as long as they have the same resolution.
To download Avidemux on your computer, connect to its official website and click on the link win64 xx Final Install (64 bits), FossHub (if you're using a 64-bit version of Windows), about that win32 xx Final Install (32 bits), FossHub (if you are using a 32-bit version of Windows) or on that xx Mojave QT5 (dmg), FossHub (if you are using macOS). On the next web page, then select the software name.

As I told you, you can also join videos in different formats, as long as they have the same resolution. If you want to change the resolution of a video to make it "digest" by Avidemux, use the editing functions included in the program, accessible by clicking on the menu Video (top) and then on the voice filters.
Now, you need to decide in what format to save the output video. Then use the drop-down menu Video output to choose the video codec to use, the drop-down menu Audio output to choose the audio codec to use and the drop-down menu Container output to select the container to use. If the movies to be joined are of the same video and / or audio format, you can set the function Copy in the menus for video output and audio output and quickly save the final result without re-encoding video or audio.
Finally, click on the menu Fillet, top left, and choose the item Save from the latter, then select the name and folder in which to save the output video and start exporting the file by pressing the button Save.
iMovie (macOS)
iMovie, the application to join videos on iPhone and iPad that I have already told you about in the step at the beginning of the guide, is also available for MacOS. The features offered are practically the same, but in this case the available tools are optimized for use by computer and some more advanced commands are also available. The program is free and can be found pre-installed on all the most recent Macs, but in any case it can be obtained from the relevant section of the Mac App Store.
To use it, call up iMovie by selecting the appropriate icon that you find in Launchpad. In the program screen that you see on the desktop and click on the item first Create new e poi sull'opzione Footage in the menu that appears.
At this point, click on the wording Import media files present at the top left and select the videos on your Mac that you want to merge together. Alternatively, you can get the movies from the libraries listed in the section Libraries in the left sidebar.
Once the import is complete, drag thepreview of the first video on the timeline below and repeat the same operation for the other videos. When doing this, make sure that all video files are on the same position on the timeline.
Next, select the tab Transitions present at the top and choose any transition effect you want to apply between one video and another, selecting it from the list and dragging it to the junction point between the videos on the timeline, then double-click on the two triangles, set the duration (in seconds) of the effect in the appropriate field and click on the button Apply.
Finally, export the unified video by clicking on theshare icon (Quella with the square and the arrow) located at the top right, choosing the option Fillet from the menu that appears, filling in the fields on the screen with description, tags, etc., by pressing the button NEXT and indicating the name you want to assign to the output file and the position for the rescue. To conclude, click on the button Save.

You can use it for free, but it applies a watermark to the final video that can be removed by switching to the paid version of the software (at the base cost of 44,99 euros / year), which also allows you to unlock additional features.
- EaseUS Video Editor (Windows) - video editing software available for Windows OS only that supports all popular file formats, as well as videos from smartphones, tablets, webcams and other devices. It includes many advanced features and, of course, it also allows you to merge videos. Basically it is free, but to unlock all the features and eliminate the watermark applied to the output videos you have to switch to the paid version (at the base cost of 29,95 euros / month).
